I work in acrylic and cut paper collage (and usually rhinestones). The portraits are representational, the landscapes mostly imagined. For me, these works are about nostalgia and childhood, mankind’s mysteries, love and outer space, dreams and the creation of magical objects.
I’m always collecting collage materials, some symbolic, and of course, some literally from my own life experiences. In the case of a commissioned piece, I invite my clients to contribute their own collage materials, any special cards, cut-outs, ticket stubs, any memories they might want to include. In this way, our piece becomes collaborative.
I price my work based on size. To see my prices, click here. To inquire about commissions, send me an email.
I went to Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, where I got my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2006.
Now I live in Boston with my husband, Jason, and our cat, Annie, where we own and operate our hair salon,
A hobby of mine is making movies, both for myself and for Boston band, The Spots.
